Mary Kate fell in love with the field of speech-language pathology as a way to serve the pediatric population through both educational and medical lenses. She is very excited to have recently moved to the Seacoast area to complete her Clinical Fellowship here at Clearly Speaking. Originally from Connecticut, Mary Kate earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University. She then graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with a medical SLP concentration. She has particular interests in feeding and craniofacial disorders, and has been involved with the international children’s charity Operation Smile. Mary Kate believes strongly in ensuring that therapy is functional for helping children and families in their day-to-day lives.
Mary Kate enjoys spending time with her family and travels to Houston, TX and Los Angeles, CA to visit with her siblings. She also enjoys outdoor activities, such as trail running, hiking, and canoeing. She absolutely loves dogs– especially her pup named Peterfirstname.lastname@example.org
