Margaret McGovern
M.S., CCC-SLP

Margaret is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist with an immense passion for working with and advocating for children with speech and language needs. Margaret received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of New Hampshire and was a recipient of an Office of Special Education Program (OSEP) grant to attend Syracuse University for her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Margaret’s greatest joy has always been working with children, but her love for the field of Speech and Language brought her to many different settings throughout her career. Margaret has worked in early intervention, school settings, and part-time as an acute inpatient speech therapist in the hospital setting. After working across many areas of the field, Margaret found her speech therapy ‘home’ in working as a generalist pediatric speech therapist. She now is working full time as a school-based speech therapist and part-time at Clearly Speaking as of December, 2021.
In her free time, Margaret loves to garden, practice yoga, and spend time with her family and friends. She especially loves time with her favorite nephew pup, Dunkin the french bulldog
