Carolyn Alfonso
M.A., CCC-SLP

I'm Carolyn and I'm a speech-language pathologist who loves working with clients across the lifespan and continuing to learn more and more each day about our field. I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, and nursing homes.
I'm originally from Massachusetts and I earned my bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Rhode Island in 2022. I then received my master's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Connecticut in 2024, where I also completed my graduate clinical project on the subject of "Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing in the Treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech". I'm especially passionate about the areas of motor speech disorders, language, and cognition. I enjoy offering fun, functional treatment that supports clients as they work to achieve their communication goals.
Outside of my work, I love baking, reading, and traveling with my husband James.
