Michelle LaCroix

Michelle is an ASHA certified clinician who discovered her passion for working with children while growing up surrounded by kids at her mother’s home-based childcare center. After being raised in Western Massachusetts, Michelle attended the University of New Hampshire where she received her bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Michelle continued her education at UNH, receiving her masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a concentration in early childhood (birth through elementary) communication disorders.
Michelle joined the field of speech-language pathology in 2019 and has gained clinical experience supporting infants to teenagers in outpatient therapy center and school settings. She enjoys supporting clients across a variety of areas including language acquisition, social communication, literacy skills, speech sound production, and more. Michelle utilizes neurodiversity-affirming and child-led approaches in her treatment, promoting learning through connection and play. She is dedicated to helping children grow their skills and build on their communication strengths.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her fiancé, James, and their cat, Peaches. She loves playing tabletop games, reading a good fantasy book, paddle boarding, and working on a variety of crafty hobbies.
